Set in 60,000 acres of
conservancy land, Loisaba parallels the
border of Laikipia and Kenya’s rugged Northern Frontier
District. Constructed from stone, local timber and
thatch, the lodge is perched high on a plateau providing
breath taking views extending hundreds of miles.
The lodge offers a spa with outside bubble bath and the
famous ‘Star Beds’ which are available for a night out
under the stars.
Access and Distance
* Loisaba is a remote destination and is best accessed by
air. Fly from Nairobi to Nanyuki and thereafter a
private charter to Loisaba’s all weather strip (approx 2
hours). Alternatively a private air charter from Nairobi
direct to Loisaba takes approx 1 hour
Accommodation
* 7 rooms with large French windows that open onto private
deck and en suite bathrooms
* A separate, self-contained private cottage is also
available, with two double en suite bedrooms and it has
its own game drive vehicle
* Loisaba House and Cottage, 2 bedrooms, offer guests
private and exclusive accommodation. They have their own
staff, car and guide, as well as access to the main
lodge’s facilities
* The celebrated Star Beds – Kiboko and Kioja – each
comprising of 2 double star bed sleeping platforms and
one large family platform which all have ensuite
bathroom facilities and showers
